Things I Achieved Before 8 AM Today ✨

For a long time, I struggled with creating a sustainable morning routine. Like so many of us, I’d make ambitious to-do lists packed with tasks I wanted to accomplish in a day—only to fall short by the end of it.
The real challenge? Finding balance.
I oscillated between wanting to pack my mornings with productivity, and craving a calm, mindful start to the day.
Yesterday, I decided to change my approach.
Instead of overwhelming myself, I chose a few tasks from my list and timed how long each one would take. I realized that while everything together felt daunting, breaking it into small, manageable steps made it feel achievable.
This morning, I gave it a shot. I woke up, tackled one task at a time, and before I knew it—by 8 AM, I had accomplished so much more than I thought possible!
Here’s what I completed before 8 o’clock:
1️⃣ Woke up at 6:30 AM
2️⃣ Drank a cup of fennel-cumin water
3️⃣ Followed it up with gooseberry-ginger-turmeric water
4️⃣ Read 5 pages from the novel I’m currently enjoying
5️⃣ Read 5 pages from a psychology book I’m learning from
6️⃣ Drank a glass of beetroot-turmeric-ginger water
7️⃣ Took a refreshing shower
8️⃣ Got dressed and ready for the day
The takeaway? Breaking goals into smaller, actionable steps makes them much easier to achieve. And it feels incredibly empowering to start the day on such a positive note.
How do you start your mornings? I’d love to hear about your routines or strategies that help you stay productive and mindful! 🌞💪
