Below are answers to the clients' frequently asked questions. If there is something I have missed, please don’t hesitate to ask.

What is the duration of each session?
​
The length of a therapy session will be 45 minutes. The video call link will be shared with you via email 1 hour prior to your session.

​What will be the frequency structure of the session?
​
It is suggested to start with weekly sessions however you can choose the structure which suits you best- biweekly/ bimonthly/need-based.

​What are your session charges?
​
The charges of sessions as per your requirement is given on each of the "Therapy Services" page. You can click on the type of therapy you want, and check out our packages.
Please note: I annually revise our fees. The changes in the fee structure shall be informed a month in advance to the clients. Feel free to discuss barriers, if any openly.

​Do you offer a sliding scale?
​
Limited slots of sliding scale available- a reason to be given to opt for this option.

How do I book a session?
​
You can reach out to them through various means-
Email (mindfullstatetherapy@gmail.com), WhatsApp (+91 6290912662), or by filling out the 'Book a Session' Form. After you are given a slot, I will share with you the Client Consent form which is mandatory to fill up. The slot is booked when you share the screenshot of the payment.

Are the sessions confidential?
​
Yes. The information the client shares with the therapist during therapy sessions is considered confidential. It cannot be revealed to any third party. It can only be disclosed after obtaining written consent from the client.

Where are you located?
​
All our sessions are online. I cater to clients worldwide.
​
What is the cancellation policy?
​
Please call to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance, or you will be charged for the missed appointment. In case I need to reschedule the session, I will let you know in advance as well.
10 minute grace period will be provided to join the call. If you fail to do so, the session will not be refunded, and I would request you book another session.

​Will the therapist/psychologist prescribe medications?
​
The therapist/psychologist does not provide any medication. If medication is required, I can provide a referral or the client can visit a psychiatrist they prefer.
​
Can I reach out to my therapist at any time for an emergency/crisis situation?
​
I am available only for sessions by appointment. I am not equipped for emergency situations like the risk of self-harm.
